stoic tv's Minna Kane Wins Best Female

For those people who haven't yet heard about our NaSTA (National Student Television Association) award this year: Minna Kane, who co-presents our light entertainment show HDTV, was awarded the BEST FEMALE award. It's the second time in a row we've won this - huge congratulations to Minna!

The NaSTA awards were just part of the NaSTA conference over last weekend, where we met up with 13 other TV stations across the UK in Coventry. It was great fun: we met Lizo from Newsround, managed to avoid both volunteering to host next year's conference and falling asleep at the AGM, had covert food, morphed ourselves into singing sexually-transmitted diseases, learned the Irish word for 'beetle' and left with a strong desire to buy tractors. All as normal, then. ;)
